Welcome to Akademisk Boldklub
When the disciples of the Frederician Latin School became students in 1883 and moved to Copenhagen, they brought more than their academic knowledge with them. As the game of football had not yet fully taken off in Denmark, these students instead started a cricket club as a gathering point for their sporting activities. This club was named “Fredericia Students’ Cricket Club” (FSK), as a last honour to their old school. The kits were already in the well-known AB colours: Green and white.
