Akademisk Boldklub A/S has signed Noah Maale, who will be the 18-year-old AB’s first professional contract.
“I am very pleased with the development we have seen over the past 12 months from Maale. He has built a lot on his physique, and he is a player with a large running curriculum, which fits well into the way we want to play. He always gives 100% in the duels and does not let himself be carried away, which gives a player you can be really confident in. I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with him,” says head coach Joey Gudjonsson.
Maale was promoted from AB’s U19 team to the senior first team in August 2024. He has played four games for the first team, where he made his 2nd division debut against Skive on 2 May 2025.
“I am super happy and proud to be allowed to sign a contract with AB. That has been my big goal since I started playing football here in AB, as well as playing with the first team.”
“I already started in AB back at U13, and I have continued through the academy teams. I have developed a lot as a player and a person here in AB, and for me it is a special club with a really good environment and some good people around the club.”
“Now I have got the chance here in the senior squad, which I am very proud of. I’m really looking forward to next season, and to give it a go in the 2. Division and chase promotion. And then of course playing in front of the fans at Gladsaxe stadium,” says Noah Maale about his contract.
AB is proud to once again welcome an academy player to the first team. Noah Maale has played 55 games and scored four goals for AB’s U19 team.
“Noah has worked hard since he was promoted to the senior squad, and he has shown that he deserves a contract in the first team,” says sporting director Jen Chang and elaborates:
“He is a smart player on the pitch with good instincts, and he has shown a lot of commitment and professionalism in his focus and in training habits.”
